So happy to find in Chicago a tailor who knows what he is doing. MICHAEL has over 60 years years of experience and it shows. Fantastic fabrics from Scabal and Loro Piana. He also carries Holland And Sherry fabrics which are gorgeous. Prices are reasonable. Suits came out perfect. He also does alterations like nobody else.

I recently moved from downtown Chicago to Skokie and I was worried I wouldn't find a good tailor in my neighborhood. Glad I found Bourjois. Michael is a master tailor and loves his craft. You can tell by the way he lights up when he talks about fabrics, measurements and all the custom-made pieces he made by hand (the pieces are so beautiful!). There's not many like him in Illinois. It took only 2 days for him to get my suit fit just right. I picked up my finished suit and immediately tried it on. I look like a million bucks and feel extremely confident in the suit. Having Bourjois close to my new neighborhood makes me not miss Chicago as much. If you want to look like a million bucks, even if you buy a suit from a store or a custom made one - go to Bourjois. Michael knows what he's doing.

Michael is tuely the best! He is a master tailor that does things the traditional way. By that, I mean he takes no short cuts and "close enough" is not in his vocabulary. He does it right, period. His eye for detail is incredible and when you wear one of his suits you wear it in confidence knowing that even the experts will notice. He is very accomodating, very pleasant and an absolute joy to work with. Thank you Michael!

Michael has been my bespoke tailor for several years. I now live in Indianapolis and drive to Morton Grove for Michael to address all of my tailoring. He is simply amazing. I like my suite to fit perfectly, even though my arms and legs, hips and shoulders are a bit off level. When Michael is finished my clothes look like they were painted on to me. I have worked with other tailors and have a large wardrobe of mostly Italian suits and jackets. Michael is the only tailor I will have do my tailoring or make my clothes.

Michael is an incredibly talented master tailor. Whether he's resizing a sports jacket or handcrafting a new bespoke suit, he always aims for a perfect fit. And when clothing fits correctly, it gives you the confidence to take on the world. Michael tells me that in addition to fully custom bespoke suits, he's offering "made-to-measure" suits that provide a custom fit for only a little more cost than a top off-the-rack suit. Bourjois is highly recommended!

Mike is a true master tailor that is rare to find nowadays. I spent some time in his shop as I live around the corner and he did an excellent job on some minor alters I needed. I plan to buy a bespoke suit from him in the future as I know I will be in good hands
